And yet, AT ONE AND THE SAME TIME,
totally self sufficient and have it all together.
So, which is it? One, or the other.

Clearly you do not understand the concept. You are to be self sufficient when that is what is wanted and helpless when that is wanted.
It is not mutual exclusive if you understand what is wanted is what is important.
Gee next thing you will want to be who you are and act like you want. No good can come of it I tell you. It is a sure road to ruin. Ruining what other people want.

I think I'm going through my terrible twos *now*, and going around shouting NO at everybody. Mostly inside my head, but sometimes out loud.
