Men ‘get’ a wife of their own

the same way you’d buy a car
or a horse
or any *possession* whatsoever.

They think they’re replacing
their mother
or their sister
or whatever woman or women they’re running from
(in this ‘man’s’ world)

but what they really seek
is that friendly face
the ‘nanny’
Mary Poppins
(or some such – choose your cultural metaphor)

How does this affect *me*?

*I* am disowned in the process – displaced

REplaced

by some woman whose ‘job’ (often almost literally – think of the men who say of their ex’s,
“She was a good worker”. I’ve heard this more than once, and was shocked each time)

is to, basically, take care of them.

But what they don’t *know* is,

they think they’re replacing their mother,

but they just end up with

another.

Just like her,
only, different.

Revenge is SWEET. :-)

And I don’t even have to lift a finger – they’re all hoist upon their own petards.

(only downside is – so are *we*. Except maybe those of us who attempt not to engage?
Hm. Water the fish swims in and all that. More later.)
